A warm welcome to the Solutronic Newsletter

In-house consumption monitoring with S0 sensor and SOLPLUS inverters

Our quest last year to find customers willing to assist us conduct trials aimed at optimising in-house consumption sparked a massive amount of interest. The first test customers were provided with the necessary equipment and data back in December and we are now able to publish the results.

Our first step has been to integrate a new window in our SOLPLUS+ software specifically for SOLPLUS 25-55 inverters, which displays the evaluation and configuration of in-house consumption and the autarky rating. With a S0 sensor connected, it's now possible to compare levels of power generation and in-house consumption without the need for separate software and evaluation tools.

We'll gladly supply you with the right S0 meters for your particular installation. You will also require new firmware for your SP25-55 inverters and SOLPLUS+. If you are interested, please contact our product manager at s.scheuerle@solutronic.de.

The latest on SOL-Energymanager

Our SOL-Energymanager is constantly undergoing development and has become very popular with system owners, abroad, too.

You can now access our purpose-built customer portal to monitor the yields of your SOL-Energymanager (in German only). This allows you to monitor and service your solar power system with ease and any time you want via the internet, even when you're not at home. The portal displays the autarky rating and in-house consumption and PV generation levels, providing clear visualisation of the installation's performance.

If you'd like us to make you an offer or would like more information on the SOL-Energymanager, please contact our Sales experts at vertrieb@solutronic.de

System management solutions for large-scale installations

We have developed yet more highly affordable pieces of optional equipment that can be used to remotely control large-scale installations and transfer performance data: option cards for our SOLCOMBOX. The Analogue Values option card allows the output data of up to 32 inverters to be transferred to the power utility. The OK6 option card, on the other hand, can be used to transmit either the reactive power (via 4 – 20 mA analogue values) or the required cos-phi value from the utility company to the inverters.

SOL-Data: the new accessory for cost-effective data retrieval from PV installations connected to a GPRS, UMTS or LTE router

The slow data rate of GSM connections is no longer adequate for frequent retrieval of the inverter data of many PV installations – and it's a overly expensive solution, too. To enable our customers to access and retrieve their data quickly, securely and reliably, we have added another new product to our portfolio: SOL-Data
A secure VPN connection using specially configured routers allows you to monitor your SOLPLUS inverters fast and dependably over the internet.

Thanks to the level of competition between providers and the massive fall in connection costs, SOL-Data makes economic sense even for smaller PV systems.

The packages available:
- XS Package: for SOL-Energymanager and 1 – 3 inverters
- S Package: for 3 – 40 inverters
- M Package: for 40 – 240 inverters
- L Package: for 240+ inverters
- XL Package: an option for superfast data rates

If you're interested, please contact our Sales people, who will provide you with all the details regarding functionality and prices: vertrieb@solutronic.de.
